KIZOMBA CLASSES
Kizomba is a grounded, smooth flowing dance which originated in Angola with its roots in semba. As Angolan semba music was influenced by Carribbean Zouk in the 70’s & 80’s resulting in Kizomba music, the semba dancers adapted their steps to match the music tempo and Kizomba as a dance was born. As a partner dance the beauty of Kizomba comes from the connection, being able to lead and follow in complete harmony while immersing yourself in the music. It’s the perfect dance to improve your lead and follow skills in other dance styles.
